Honda named tops in American-Made Index rankings

Honda’s Ohio manufacturing operations again landed in the national spotlight as four vehicles built in Marysville, East Liberty and Anna helped the automaker claim more top-10 spots than any competitor in the 2026 Cars.com American-Made Index.

Honda said it has now placed 57 vehicles in the index’s top 10 since the rankings began in 2006, more than any other automaker. General Motors ranks second with 53 vehicles over the same period.

Among this year’s topranked vehicles is the Honda Accord, built at Honda’s Marysville Auto Plant, which returned to the top 10 during the model’s 50th anniversary year. The Accord was the first automobile Honda produced in the Un…
