Union County Coroner investigator earns statewide honor

A member of the Union County Coroner’s Office was recently recognized for his work and service to the community.
Lance Emberling was named Coroner Investigator of the Year by his peers during the recent Ohio Coroner’s Association conference last month.
An investigator in the office, Emberling was nominated for the award by three separate people and presented with his win by Union County Coroner Dr. David Applegate, who said in his speech that work ethic and attention to detail make Emberling a deserving recipient.
