Must Be More Interest or No Chautauqua, no dissatisfaction with the program this year, but guarantors seem indisposed to back project without other support. The weather this year has not been favorable to large attendance, and the early dates probably had some effect on keeping down the sale of tickets. There has been no dissatisfaction with the quality of the entertainment offered, but guarantors, generally the same persons year after year, in the main, seem to have lost intestine backing a proposition that has not sufficient public support to permit those guarantors to come through without financial loss.
