One killed in Route 739 motorcycle collision
A man from Caledonia was killed and a female passenger was transported by medical helicopter after being ejected from a motorcycle after a two-vehicle crash in the Richwood area over the Memorial Day weekend.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office crash reports, Logan Michael Knapp, 27, of Caledonia, was pronounced dead at the time of the crash at the intersection of Route 739 and Winnemac Road in Jackson Township on May 23. His passenger, Chelsey Rena Kearns, 30, of Marion, was transported by MedFlight to OSU with serious injuries.
