Memorial prepares to launch into emergency department expansion project

Memorial Health officials have released new details on how construction of the hospital’s planned emergency department (ED) expansion will unfold, including a temporary entrance, parking lot reconfiguration and an estimated 18-month construction timeline.

Andrew Chileski, Memorial Health’s chief information officer and vice president of diagnostic services, said the project is entering the approval and bidding phase, with plans for both new parking lots and the emergency department expansion being submitted to local governments this week.
