Richwood library hosts summer reading club

The Richwood-North Union Public Library is digging into the books with its Summer Reading Club.

Summer Reading Club begins Saturday, June 6 with a big kick-off party. The theme of this year, “Unearth A Story” is open to residents of all ages to participate. Stop in the library between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to pick up a reading tracker and enjoy snacks, activities, music, free giveaways, a selfie station, a giant coloring mural, face painting and the Fruit Bucket Smoothie Truck. Cross off a box on the reading tracker for every 30 minutes of reading time. When the total of six hours is reached, kids will receive a dinosaur egg dig kit or a dinosaur bath toy, teens earn a crystal keychain and …
