Weber cruises to victory in primary
Ben Weber will be the Republican candidate for state representative in the November general election for District 86 after defeating challengers Wezlynn Davis and Steven Wolfe in the primary election.
“Thank you to all the voters and supporters who have entrusted me to be the Republican nominee for State Representative in Ohio’s 86th House District, representing Union and Marion counties,” Weber wrote in a statement to the Gazette. “I’m honored by your support and grateful for your confidence.”
According to unofficial results from the Union County Board of Elections, Weber received 42% of the vote in Union County, totaling 3,429 votes. Davis received 30%, or 2,484 votes, while Wolfe received 28%, or 2,342 votes.<...
