Lady Wildcats defeat Shawnee, stand alone at top of CBC Mad River Division

North Union did not have its best outing last Friday as it lost by double digits to Kenton Trail, the defending Division IV state champion.
The Lady Cats needed to bounce back and be ready on Monday with another big game as they hosted Shawnee, which had just one loss during the season. The two teams were tied for first place in the Central Buckeye Conference’s Mad River Division at 9-1.
“We knew we needed to be ready to go,” NU senior outfielder Kale Keigley said. “But we were relaxed and not super uptight.”
