Lady Cats win two, push their winning streak to eight games

North Union completed one softball game and then took the field for a second contest on Thursday at North Union.

In a completion of a game that was started on Wednesday, the Lady Cats defeated Graham 11-1 and then followed with a 14-1 victory over Pleasant. Both games were shortened by the run rule.

The opening game went six innings and the nightcap ended after five innings. The opener was stopped in the third inning because of weather in the third inning while the game against Pleasant was a scheduled contest for Thursday.
