Traffic pattern change planned on U.S. 33

Drivers using U.S. 33 will notice a rerouting of traffic starting this week.

On Monday night, the Ohio Department of Transportation beganrerouting traffic on the highway for the U.S. 33 bridge replacement project.

“Beginning Monday night the eastbound traffic on U.S. 33 will undergo a lane shift,” according to information from the City of Marysville. “The left lane of U.S. 33 eastbound will be redirected to the westbound side of the roadway, operating in a contraflow pattern. The right lane of U.S. 33 eastbound will remain open but shifted toward the outside shoulder.”
