Lady Cats softball takes care of Ben Logan in lopsided win

A five-run third inning keyed North Union to a 9-2 win over Benjamin Logan in Central Buckeye Conference softball action on Wednesday at Benjamin Logan. Leah Cox was in the pitcher’s circle for the Lady Cats (5-3 overall, 3-0 CBC). She allowed 10 hits, struck out nine and walked one. Kale Keigley led NU in hitting with a double and two singles while driving in two runs. Emma McElroy posted three singles, Kennedy Harrah notched two single and Kailin McElroy, Tinlee Martino, Hazlee Hall and Cox each singled, Jaylyn Parker, Jozie Taylor, Brielle Kline and Tanna Jacobs each had two singles for Benjamin Logan (3-3,0-2).
