Council asks LifeWise buses to stop using alleys

Richwood Council is asking LifeWise bus drivers not to use the village alleyways during student drop-off following a resident’s complaint.

During a previous meeting of council last month, a village resident aired concerns to council regarding the alleyway between Bomford Street and Ottawa Street next to Richwood First Methodist Church, where students in the LifeWise program are dropped off. She said that the condition of the alley has been “decimated” after the school bus began using it on a daily basis for student dropoff.
