Wildcat boys and girls track teams are gearing up for the start of a new spring season

In addition to combining returning letterwinners with newcomers, high school track teams across the state of Ohio will also be adjusting to other changes. For the 2026 track season and beyond, the Ohio High School Athletic Association increased the number of division classes from three to five. While that has little effect on what is done during the regular season, the change will be felt when it comes to the postseason. North Union’s boys and girls track teams were both in Division II last year and this will be among the Division IV teams.
