NU baseball team looks to bounce back under leadership of veteran head coach
The 2025 record was not what the North Union baseball team was looking to have. But head coach Todd Wilcox, who is beginning his first year at the helm of the Wildcats, has some optimism despite the team coming off a 5-18 mark.
“We lost eight games last year by two runs or less,” said Wilcox, who spent 14 years (2005-18) as an assistant coach at Marysville. “We are looking to be on the other side of that this year.”
North Union does have nine returning letterwinners, but several were not part of a regular lineup. Four starters, Tyler Krebehenne, Ashtin Haubiel, Evan Beery and Myles Marlette, have graduated.
