Social News: Twenty-five neighbors and friends from Beatty avenue gave Mr. and Mrs. James Enlow a surprise at their home Tuesday in honor of Mr. Enlow’s 82nd birthday anniversary. The evening was spent socially and refreshments were served. Mr. Enlow received a number of nice presents. – – Mrs. Julia Everett, of Richwood, was happily surprised at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emma Seaman, one mile west of Essex, in honor of her eighty-fourth birthday, Sunday. Mrs. Emma Seaman, and daughter Florence and sons, Myron and Charles, entertained about seventy near relatives and friends. (continued on page 4 of original paper)
