Traffic flow a priority for U.S. 33 bridge repairs

The major repair project for bridges on U.S. 33 is starting soon and this time, crews will maintain two lanes of traffic in both directions during construction.

Officials with the Ohio Department of Transportation told Marysville City Council recently that work will likely start at the end of this month or beginning of April with a traffic pattern change. “We saw this in 2024 when we did the pavement repairs. Taking (U.S.) 33 down to one lane, in one direction for any length of time, is incredibly disruptive, so it was important for the test of this project that traffic be maintained two lanes in each direction and that’s what this is going to accomplish,” said Matt McGuir…
