New director hired for U.C. Tourism

Crystal Cassady was recently named the new head of the organization, officially starting in her new role on Feb. 17.

Cassady will replace Karen Eylon, who is still with the organization working through the transition.

“Karen has been a stalwart leader who provided great vision and strategic direction to Union County Tourism. She has left an indelible impact on the Union County community. We thank Karen for her seven years of service,” said Eric Phillips, CEO, Union County Chamber of Commerce. Eylon announced last year that she has chosen to step away from her current role to spend time with family and eventually pursue new opportunities.
