Wildcats outlast KIPP Academy in non-conference game

North Union defeated Columbus KIPP Academy 61-55 on Tuesday in a non-league game at North Union. The Wildcats (8-10) had the lead at the end of each of the four quarters, capping things with a 23-20 advantage in the final stanza.
Dainon Lindsey scored 23 points in the second half on his way to a team-high 27 points. Nickolas Hajjar added 11 markers.
Jonathan Amos had 28 points for KIPP (12-6).

The win stops a short two-game skid for the Wildcats. They will look to get back on track as they hit the road Friday night ti take on Northwestern. The Wildcats defeated Northwestern in their previous meeting.
