The third annual independent farmers’ institute of Leesburg township will be held at the M.P. church, in Pharisburg. Good speakers and good music have been secured and the community anticipates two days of pleasure and profit.

At the annual meeting of the shareholders of the Farmers Deposit Bank, the following directors were elected: Bent Cahill, H.C. Duke, G.W. Hunt, C.S. Marriott, Thomas Parish, G.D, Sidle and J.D. White. Officers elected were: Bent Cahill, president; H.C. Duke, vice-president; L.G. Zuspan, cashier; W. P. Ransome, teller; David Sidel, bookkeeper.
