Leadership change made at YMCA

The Union County YMCA has a new acting executive director.

YMCA officials announced on Jan. 30 that Trevor Secord is no longer in the role and that Michelle Pever has stepped into the position.

While the press release sent out to members regarding the change in leadership did not offer a reason for the shift, it did note that Pever will assume the duties moving forward.

In the release, Pever said her ties to Marysville make her a great fit for the organization’s leader. “I’m now our acting executive director while a thoughtful process is underway to determine next steps,” she said in a statement. “I have worked at the Y for over 24 years an…
