Lady Cats pounce on visiting Lady Raiders during senior night contest

North Union’s girls basketball program earned a running clock during its senior night festivities last Saturday evening.

The Lady Cats tallied a 60-20 victory over visiting Benjamin Logan to improve their overall regular season record to 16-3. The win also bumped up the Central Buckeye Conference record to a perfect 8-0 thus far with two more league games on the schedule.

“I was proud of the way we started,” NU Head Coach Mitchell Loomis said. “We like to play at a tempo that is very fast… it was kind of taken care of before too much time had past.”
