From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:

A deputy investigated a dispute over property that had occurred at a home in the 32000 block of Water Street in Essex at 1:34 a.m., Jan. 13. No report was taken.

At 6:40 a.m., Jan. 13, a deputy was sent to Route 4 near Route 347 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Ford Explorer that was struck by loose debris from a 2024 Kruz dump truck. No report was taken.

A deputy was sent to U.S. 33 near Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado that struck a 2024 Toyota RAV4 at 8:03 a.m., Jan. 13. A report was taken.
