From Richwood Division of Police reports:

Officers and a deputy from the Union County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 100 block of Beatty Avenue at 3:40 a.m., Jan. 4, for a report of an assault. Upon arrival and further investigation, no assault had taken place.

An officer assisted the Northern Union County Fire Department in the 100 block of Beatty Avenue at 9:35 a.m., Jan. 4, on a natural gas smell report in the listed area. The fire department handled the call and no report was taken.

In the 200 block of South Franklin Street at 1:14 p.m., Jan. 5, an officer responded for a report of suspicious circumstances. Nothing suspicious was found and no report was taken.
