Official unsure housing summit addressed base problem

While Union County officials agreed their first ever housing summit was overall successful, one county commissioner said it lacked a key component to truly address the area’s housing crisis: solutions.

At the recent county commissioners board meeting, Commissioner Tom McCarthy told Eric Phillips, economic development director for the county and City of Marysville, that the next time a summit is put together, its focus should be more on solving the problem, not just discussing it.
