NU boys basketball crew returns to court after lengthy football season

It has been several years since the North Union boys basketball team faced a season in which it got off to a late start.

As a result of the football team reaching the Division V regional finals, the Wildcats have had reduced participation in practices and the start of the season was pushed back to mid-December.

North Union’s first game is scheduled for Friday at Indian Lake.

“Obviously we were missing a lot of key guys, but it has been really good so far,” Head Coach Austin Terrill said. “We have had a young guys step up and we had good scrimmages.”
