Lady Cats seek to stay atop conference landscape

Over the past few years, the North Union girls basketball team has achieved much success.

It has won four straight Central Buckeye Conference Mad River titles and were Central District runners up in 2023 and 2024.

The blueprint for that success is once again right there as the Lady Cats are returning several players from last year’s team that went 20-4 overall and 10-0 in the CBC.

“Returning six letterwinners is something that is exciting for us,” Head Coach Mitchell Loomis said.

But looking back on what was done in the past is not something Loomis is wanting to do.
