Care Train Auction raises $240K

Residents and businesses turned out for the annual Care Train of Union County over the weekend.

The holiday themed event, held at McAuliffe’s ACE Hardware on Saturday, brought in $240,000 this year through the auction, sponsorships and donations. With that, the Care Train Board of Directors approved the distribution of $232,275 in food gift cards this year to prequalified families, seniors and disabled individuals, according to event organizers.
