NU FFA members achieve best in national FFA

By Carley Berridge,
North Union FFA Reporter

Six North Union FFA members got the opportunity to wear their jackets one last time at the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo on Nov. 1.

Kaylee Brestle, Leah Dible, Chloe Hall, Cenlee Holloway, Glade Jolliff and Layni Wills had the honor of walking across the stage and receiving their FFA American Degrees. In order to achieve this degree, you have to have received your state degree, gained a certain amount of community service hours and met a required SAE project.

This year, less than 1% of over a million FFA members nationwide have received this honor. The FFA American represents hard work, passion and dedication to agriculture and the community.
