North Union had more than enough to deal with top-seeded Williamsburg last Friday in a Division V Region 20 quarterfinal football matchup at Williamsburg.

Starting with a 56-yard touchdown run by Griffin Osborne’s on game’s second play from scrimmage, the Wildcats, the eighth seed in Region 20, were in control from beginning to end to earn a 47-13 victory over Williamsburg, also nicknamed the Wildcats.

“How does that feel,” NU Head Coach Nick Hajjar said to his team in the post-game huddle.

The win expanded the 2025 season for at least one more week as North Union has reached the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2020.
