Seeds of success

The North Union FFA Agronomy team got the opportunity to compete at the national level recently for the Agronomy Career Development Event (CDE) and finished third overall in the nation.

The 98th National FFA Convention and Expo was held in Indianapolis, Indiana, from Oct. 29 through Oct. 31. Agronomy team members Olivia Ehrick, Jackson Evans, Emma Murphy and Josie Ufferman all notched high individual scores that propelled the team to third place. Ufferman and Murphy scored a gold rating, Ehrick placed tenth individually and Evans came away with a national title for first place individually.
