Bartow retires from Veterans Services

Dale Bartow has announced his retirement as the Executive Director of Union County Veterans Services after serving in the role for over 17 years.

Bartow will officially retire on April 1, 2026 just 18 days after his 65th birthday. He has named Andrew D. Stahl, the current senior veterans service officer, as his successor and Stahl has accepted the position.

“I’ll still keep in touch with the office here, help them with any special projects, I’ll still keep involved with veterans activities and concerns around the county,” Bartow said. “It’s in my blood.”
