Trick-or-Treat flexed to Nov. 1

Richwood council has chosen to move Trick-or-Treat for the village from Friday to Saturday ahead of traffic safety concerns due to a North Union home playoff football game.

Trick-or-Treat in the village has been set for Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m. every year since council made a vote establishing its date years ago. However, this year the date coincides with North Union hosting Greeneview for a playoff football game on Friday at 7 p.m. At the regular meeting of the village on Monday, members chose to move Trick-or-Treat to Saturday, Nov. 1 from 5-7 p.m. after Mayor Scott Jerew asked council for help making the decision.
