From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:

At 9:40 a.m., Tuesday, a deputy was sent to the James A. Karnes Corrections Center in Franklin County to take custody of Talmadge E. Lewis, 31, of Columbus, for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

At 2:50 p.m., Oct. 14, a deputy was sent to the 25000 block of Yearsley Road to investigate a property damage crash involving semi-truck that struck a culvert. A report was taken.

A deputy spoke with a resident in the 23000 block of Route 4 on Oct. 14 in regards to a dispute over ownership of a vehicle at 4:07 p.m. No report was taken.
