NUMS runners compete in conference meet

North Union did not have runners to field a complete team for the Central Buckeye Conference boys and girls middle school meet.

Joseph Wiley was the individual boys champion as he led the field in a school-record time of 11:02.3.

Also running for the Wildcats were Triten Sonoda (23rd, 13:36.3), Drake Smith (36th, 14:39.5) and Kyle Stacklin (41st, 15:09.07).

Layney Wilds finished eighth in the girls meet in the time of 13:19.3.

Other runners for the Lady Cats were Harper Vogelsang (23rd, 14:55.9) and Leah Conrad (59th, 18:57.9).
