Vacant building burns down in Broadway

An abandoned house in Broadway burnt down on Monday morning.

At 10:50 a.m., fire departments from all over the area responded to 19105 Main St., Broadway for a residential fire report. John Cooke, Assistant Fire Chief with the Northwestern Joint Fire District, said that no injuries were reported to citizens or fire personnel. He said the house was abandoned and that the entire house burned down.

Cooke said that a neighbor made the call and units from the Allen Township Fire Department, East Liberty Fire Department, Marysville Fire Department, Delaware County Fire Department, Union Township Fire Department, Plain City Fire Department, Ostrander Fire Department, Jerome Township Fire Department and Champaign County Fire respond…
