Lady Cats and Pioneers settle conference matchup with 1-1 tie

When everything got settled neither coach was entirely pleased as North Union and Jonathan Alder played to a 1-1 tie last Monday in Central Buckeye Conference girls soccer action at North Union.

“We came into this match expecting to win,” North Union Head Coach Bill LeRoy said.

“I felt like we underperformed, but give credit to Bill and North Union for all they did to keep us out of the net,” JA Head Coach Randy Spain said.

The Lady Pioneers spent a lot of time in the North Union end of the pitch but the Lady Cats were able to stand up defensively, led by goalkeeper Kaitlyn Colegrove.
