Village streets, services updates

The Richwood village administrator updated council on services and streets projects in the village.

At the regular meeting of Richwood Council on Monday, village administrator Monte Asher said that the traffic light controls will be moved out of the Opera House and there will be work on Oct. 1 to put LED lights in the downtown traffic lights.

“He won’t be disrupting traffic or anything,” Asher noted.

Asher also gave an update on fixing some of the water systems at the park. A quote was received to fix the drinking fountains at the park, which will cost $2,055 to cover all three fountains. The parts have been ordered, but council agreed not to do work on them until springtime in order to avoid compl…
