Lady Cat golfers fall short in three matches

The North Union girls golf team played in three matches last week and finished on the losing end in all three. The Lady Cats lost to Benjamin Logan 208-221 and twice to Northwestern 181-216 and 199-223.

Gabby Lindsey was team medalist in all three matches, scoring a 49 against Benjamin Logan and 48 and 52 against Northwestern.

Other scores against Benjamin Logan were Lexi Golinghorst (54), Delaney Workman (57) and Lily Hall (60).

In the first Northwestern match, Workman had a 53 and was followed by Leah Bledsoe (56) and Goiinghorst (59) and in the second match Golinghorst had a 56 and was followed Bledsoe (57) and Lanie Spencer (58).

Wildcats defeat Graham during Lakeland GC match

Jaxon Jolliff and Jenson Stover tied for medalist honors on Monday as North Union defeated Grahm 156-193 at Lakeland Golf Course. Ethan Monroe was just one stroke back and was followed by Alex Jolliff (41), Reese Spriggs (48) and Braylen Riffle (48).
