NU girls soccer team defeats Marion Harding

The progression of the North Union girls soccer team continued to move forward.

Coming off their first loss of the season, the Lady Cats rebounded from a sluggish first half to defeat Marion Harding last Saturday at North Union.

North Union lost 7-1 earlier in the week to Graham and after one half of play against the Lady Presidents was trailing 1-0.

But less than three minutes into the second half, the Lady Cats turned a one-goal deficit into a onegoal lead. They continued to be the aggressor in the half and finished with a 5-2 victory.

The win upped the record of North Union, which is in its fourth year as a sanctioned sport, to 5-1-1 and they set a school record for the most wins …
