Hoffman appointed to state post

Richwood Bank President and CEO Chad Hoffman has recently been appointed by Governor Mike DeWine to serve on the Ohio Banking Commission.

The appointm ent started on Aug. 1, 2025 and ends on Jan. 31, 2029.

Hoffman, a Union County resident and North Union graduate, has been with the Richwood Bank for 28 years, serving in multiple roles before becoming CEO, such as bank teller and bookkeeper.

The Ohio Banking Commission is a group of eight members appointed by the governor with a term length of four years, all of which are required to have banking experience as a director or officer of a banking company. The group works alongside the Ohio Department of…
