Davis will challenge for House seat in 86th District

Jerome Township Trustee Wezlynn Davis is reentering the race for Ohio State Representative in District 86.

She announced the move in a recent press release that she will be seeking the seat currently held by Tracy Richardson.

“2026 and 2028 will be critical elections for our country and our state,” she said. “It’s about restoring the promise of Ohio, and that starts with bold, unapologetic conservative leadership in Columbus.”

Drawing on her experience as a township trustee, Davis highlighted her record of leadership in one of Ohio’s fastest- growing communities.
