Habitat for Humanity to provide affordable housing

Habitat for Humanity of Delaware and Union Counties is now accepting homebuyer applications for its affordable homeownership program through Thursday, July 31, 2025. Families and individuals in need of safe, stable and affordable housing are encouraged to apply.

Habitat’s program is designed for families struggling with housing conditions that are unsafe, overcrowded, inaccessible or unaffordable. Qualified applicants must demonstrate the need for housing, the ability to repay an afford- able mortgage, and the willingness to contribute “sweat equity” by helping build their own home, the homes of others and complete a series of homebuyer education classes.
