Union County fair not interested in moving

“We’re not going anywhere.”

That was the message members of the Union County Agriculture Society shared with the county commissioners on June 18 during the board’s regular session.

Michelle Kuhlwein, a director on the members board, said they had questions and concerns in response to a presentation made at the June 11 commissioners meeting at which the Union County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute team discussed the pros and cons of the county fair and Richwood Independent Fair combining.
