The women of Alpha Upsilon, ….

The women of Alpha Upsilon, the local chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, an international sorority of female educators, would like to congratulate North Union School District teacher Rachel Severns. Mrs. Severns is an Intervention Specialist at North Union High School and was presented her award check on May 19. Alpha Upsilon’s theme for this year is “Bridges Connect the Pieces.” Prior to Valentine’s Day, teachers in Union County schools were invited to submit an entry describing a situation in which they “bridged a gap” for a student or students. Mrs. Severns submitted the winning entry. She recently joined the ladies of Alpha Upsilon for appetizers, received her award and shared her story in education.
