Commissioner hears how federal changes impact local

One Union County Commissioner got a front-row seat to discussions around how changes at the federal level may impact the local level.

Commissioner Tom McCarthy recently took a trip to Washington, D.C. as part of the State Leadership Conference, organized by the National Association of Counties and the County Commissioners Association of Ohio (CCAO).

CCAO members and state legislators, including commissioners and executives got to meet with White House leaders and cabinet secretaries to discuss policy issues facing the state.
