Weather conditions force change of scenery for conference matchup

Curve balls come in many different forms and not just on the diamond.

Friday’s conference baseball matchup between Jonathan Alder and North Union proved to be one of those evenings.

The Pioneers, bolstered by an eight-run barrage in the third inning, quelled the Wildcats and earned an 11-0 run rule victory.

The game was originally slated to be hosted in Richwood, but was instead moved to Plain City due to weather concerns.

The Wildcats were still treated as the home team with JA being the visitors.

Regardless of the circumstances, NU Head Coach Chris Roseburrough wanted his squad to compete.
