The annual commencement exercises of the York township centralized school were held in the McKendee M. E. church and were largely attended. The class address was given by Bert Highlands, superintendent of schools of Mechanicsburg. Goldsmith’s orchestra furnished the music of the occasion. There were fifteen graduate, as follows: Burdena Amrine, Oliver Brooks, David Fisher, Mabel Fisher, John Holloway, Frances Hornbeck, Audrey Landis, Lester Miller, Arthur Newman, Lucile Ortman, Florence Predmore, Delpha Smith, Marian Tobey, Lawrence Wade and Ximena Wilgus.
