Few details emerge in drowned toddler

Investigators said it could be several weeks before autopsy results are in regarding a toddler that drowned over the weekend.

Lance Emberling, lead investigator with the Union County Coroner’s Office, said officials were not yet releasing the name of the girl but said the body was currently at the Montgomery County Crime Lab.

He said the case could be part of the current batch to go in for testing, which means they could get information sooner or they could be in the next batch.
