Stabbing could result in life in prison

The Marysville man who was arrested and charged with the murder of his father could be facing life in prison after being indicted on additional charges.

The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Micaiah Immanuel Swindler, 27, of 1482 Meadowlark Lane, who is currently incarcerated at the Tri-County Regional Jail. Swindler is being charged with one count of aggravated murder, which carries a potential penalty of life without parole, 20 years to life, 25 years to life and 30 years to life, according to Ohio Revised Code (ORC). The charge also comes with a specification for forfeiture of the dagger used in the offense.
