NU diamond team falls short to Braves

North Union’s baseball program fell short of overcoming Shawnee, 5-4, last Monday.

The Wildcats fall to 1-15 overall in the regular season and 0-11 in the Central Buckeye Conference following the road contest.

Ashtin Haubiel pitched a complete game collecting four strikeouts and five walks while allowing five runs on six hits.

Evan Beery and Tyler Krebehenne led the team in the hitting category with two hits each out of six total.

Krebehenne, Jaxon Maberry and Jace Phipps each accounted for one RBI. Phipps, Beery and Krebehenne tallied one double each.
